1.   Those who organized and ensured the success of the Kids Fishing Derby should step forward and be recognized for their outstanding last minute happenings.  Without them, I'm afraid to say; the little person was almost forgotten.  Recommendations for next year's MLB calendar events have to ensure this event runs at the same time as the adult fishing derby.  This will ensure all campers have the opportunity to fish during the annual free fishing weekend to catch fish without a license.  Lessons learned will only make this event better for everyone at Moonlight Bay.

2.  Lets move onto the winner's circle for the derby.  Here is how it went:

1. 1st place largest fish an incredible .12lb perch, which was caught by John, the grandson of André & Ghislaine Clement of lot #89.  Prize included a fishing tackle box donated by Norm Brewster;



2. 2nd place approximately 1lb and released prior to weigh-in was caught by Kevin Martin, the grandson of Ken & Lou Tysick of lot #325.  Prize included a fishing rod & reel with tackle donated by MLB;



3. Honourable mention for her varying sizes and species that were caught and released by Charlotte, daughter of Trina & Bill Leaver of lot $74.  Prize selected by the participant was a water float donated by MLB.

3.  John's & Kevin's name will be inscribed on the Moonlight Bay Kid's Fishing Derby trophy.
