Olympic
Games Day for our seniors, Danny was our Gold medal winner,
Matthew Richards took the silver and Nick Brunet got the bronze and
for our Juniors, Spencer Monahan was our Gold medallist, silver went
to MacKenzie McKnight and Bronze to Thomas.
Softball Game - was cancelled, only 10 people showed
up to play.
Halloween - Crafts
with Cathie started our day…the kids made goop & slime…it was messy
but fun. At least 40 kids showed up for the costume judging… we had
Hobo's, princesses, a bride of death, a dead wedding couple, SpongeBob,
a cow girl and so many more. A hay ride around the park and
off for treat or treating.

Leblanc, 3rd place Reilly O’Connor. Thank you for sticking
around, the kids and I appreciate your support, it takes a lot to
get on stage in front of that many people. Good going Top Ten….you
are all winners in my eyes.
Horseshoe Tournament
– Talk about all afternoon …competition was tough but
Dave & Billy took the title, Runner ups Mike & Rod.
Turkey Roast &
Potluck good food, good conversation, good friends…a
good time was had by all…it was a delicious experience if you
missed it.
Ball Hockey Tournament
all the kids had fun.
The Fireworks the kids loved the sparklers…I
think next year we should go with glow in |
the dark bracelets.
Bassmasters:
53 avid fisherpersons participated in this year’s event. Winner
for the 2nd year in a row was none other than Claude Rideout with
4lbs 4ozs Smallmouth. The remaining persons who actually weighed
in their fish and claimed a prize are as follows: Dan Ampleman 2nd
with 4lbs 2ozs Largemouth, Devin Nordskog 3rd with
3lbs 9ozs Smallmouth and his wife Sheila 4th with
the exact same weight, go figure, Kevin Michaud 5th
another 3lbs 9ozs Largemouth, Jim Gibbs 6th with
3lbs 6ozs Smallmouth, Ed O’Neill 7th with 3lbs
5ozs Smallmouth, Ruth Anderson 8th with 3lbs Smallmouth,
Bill Scorgie 9th with 2lbs 6ozs Largemouth, and Janice
Hamilton 10th with 2lbs 1oz Smallmouth. This
event would not have been a success without the donations of our |

fellow campers who donated prizes such

Camper Meeting – Elections
will be held Sat., May 30th, 2009 at 1:00pm in the Rec Hall.
Please remember that the decisions made at these meetings will affect
all campers. We encourage you to attend. Everyone welcome.
Rec Hall Rule Change – Children 12 and
under need supervision by a parent or someone who is at least 16 years
of age. |
The Rec Hall will be closed
when it’s nice out and will only be opened for special events
if the kids do not start cleaning up after themselves.
Boat Dock Fees – the fees are going up by $25.
Volunteers Needed to run events
next summer – please see Dawn ASAP for scheduling
dates before the 2009. |
Schedule of Activities
is made. Participation and volunteers are what make these events successful;
we need parents to organize arts and crafts, games, sports, special
events, outdoor activities and more.
Please take time to contribute to your campground.
