Maze Puzzle 3

Donations / Prizes - Click to go to Leisure Days website
Leisure Days came through for us in a big way…. thanks to Kathy Graham. They gave us $200 to put towards the kids prizes and donated lots of other really good stuff worth about $800.  Some prizes were used for the fishing derby, some were donated to the Golf & Bassmaster tournaments….and we still have more.

We can always count on Bennett’s Bait & Tackle to donate prizes for our fishing derby…. and this year was no different. Thanks Shaun. Lombardy Diner gave a gift certificate for a free pizza.  John Firth from Portland Bait Shop gave a beautifully carved wooden fish.  Dale Tellier donated a kids fishing rod.  Oscar Poulin gave a really nice tackle box.  Connie Tysick donated a Red-Neck Game.  Garnet Badour gave one of the fishing whirly-birds.

Donations / Prizes Continued…
John Maxwell donated a full size first aid kit & car wax.  What can I say to all of you…except… “Thank you…Thank you …Thank you” !!!

Fishing Derby – The winners for the largest fish in each division went to Jason Bellamy for the men (6lbs.7oz), Sheila Nordskog for the ladies; Nolan Kellett for the boys and Morgan Nordskog for the girls.  We gave prizes for 2nd and 3rd places in all categories, and even gave prizes just for coming out.

Crafts – we really need more parents to step up and help out.  About a dozen kids showed up and I couldn’t help all of them…thanks to MacKenzie McKnight who came to my rescue.

Horseshoes – Steve McKnight & Margaret Gorman 1st, and Rodney Davis & Joan Plascott 2nd place winners.

Beach Day – It was nice to see so many campers come out to play …and that the rain held off. Sheila Nordskog …you were amazing and all your help was much appreciated.  The kids dug for treasures, built sand castles, played games, got dunked, had a water balloon fight and chowed down on hot dogs and ice cream sundaes.  Thank you Garnet Badour & Co for doing the BBQing….again.

Christmas in July – there was cupcake decorating, gingerbread house building, a coloring contest and Christmas crafts while they waited for Santa to arrive.  Thanks to everyone who volunteered to make this day a memorable one for the kids.

Lot Party – happening Sun, Aug 2nd on the main drag, everyone welcome, wear your dancing shoes and follow the music.
